Version 7.00 (20/9/2009) runs on Windows 98, 2000, XP and Vista.

To install, simply download the file and run. By default it will install into your system drive (usually c:\spraylog 2009\) but you can install it anywhere. It doesn't copy any files into your Windows folder, and doesn't use the registry to save settings.

Updating SprayLog

At the very top of this website you will see the latest version number available, this is to be interpreted as: version number and build number. So for example:

• 6.03 is version 6, build 3
• 6.04 is version 6, build 4
• 7.00 is version 7, build 0
• etc.

Every year we release a new version of SprayLog for the up-coming season, eg SprayLog 2007 (version 5) SprayLog 2008 (version 6), SprayLog 2009 (version 7), etc. Each new version does not overwrite the previous one, instead they install alongside each other so that each one is independent of the other. It is not like most other software for example, Microsoft Office where if you have office 2003 and install office 2007, you can no longer access office 2003.

We do our best to find all the bugs and issues before we release a new version, but some can slip through. When this happens we fix the reported issues and release a new build for you to download. To install the latest build of the current version, just download and install SprayLog like you normally would. It will not overwrite the data you have entered, but we do strongly recommend taking a backup of the SprayLog folder before updating, just in case.

So in summary different versions install along side one another and builds overwrite the existing version to the latest one available.
